MING 22.01 GMT Kyoto - 38mm

MING watch is an independent watch brand based here in Kuala Lumpur which has made great strides in the watchmaking industry. Founded in 2017, the young brand has garnered a huge following of fellow enthusiasts - allowing the brand to release watches which are sold out in minutes, if not seconds. 

Each MING watch is designed here in KL, but manufactured in Switzerland and regarded as Swiss Made. Each watch is well made, with much thought put to not only the design but also its practicality. The watches are usually under 40mm in size, and very wearable even for smaller or larger wrist sizes. 

The 22.01 was released in 2022 and continues on the success of the earlier 20.xx series. This particular references comes with 2 dial variations - Kyoto (Green) and Gilt. The example we have here - The Gilt - brass/gilt design and textures on the dial. The dial has a sapphire overlay - which creates a complex multilayer dial on the overall. This combination again, plays very well with light as most Ming watches do.

The 22.01 GMT KYOTO was sold out upon release and no longer in production. 1000 pieces were made for each variant.
